YOU can help to “prevent emergency events or stop them small” ...Making ammonia the safest managed hazardous material in the world!

ASTI’s One Plan program is a customizable emergency response site plan designed to help facilities improve preparedness, strengthen team coordination, and provide faster access to critical information during an ammonia release or spill. Built to support real-world decision-making, One Plan gives facilities a structured, site-specific tool that can be tailored to their operations, hazards, and response needs.

ASTI Associates are authorized to sell the ASTI Compliance Training and One Plan Playbooks programs to their clients. These state-of-the-art programs are an emergency planning deliverable with over 30 years of development and success.
ASTI also certifies the qualifications for the Associate trainers and the on-going certification of clients who engage the One Plan Playbooks.

Prepare your team to respond confidently and effectively to ammonia emergencies with ASTI’s immersive 32-Hour Ammonia Responder Course. Offered annually in the Monterey Bay area, this unique four-day program combines engaging classroom instruction, hands-on field exercises, live ammonia release scenarios, and collaborative problem-solving based on real-world incidents, while providing valuable opportunities to network with experienced ammonia and refrigeration professionals.

The ASTI Safety Day is a comprehensive, one-day training event that brings together industry, public safety, and government stakeholders to improve ammonia safety, emergency preparedness, and operational performance. The training is tailored to the audience, facility type, geographical region, and organizational goals, providing practical, real-world education that supports safer operations and stronger emergency preparedness.
An ASTI Tabletop Exercise (TTX) is a disaster preparedness activity that uses a fictitious disaster scenario to engage participants in the disaster response process. It is discussion based and helps participants familiarize themselves with the emergency response process. TTXs encourage a connection with local industrial, first responders, and government personnel, and allows facilities to gauge their own emergency response practices.
